Luke King, President and Managing Partner
With over 15 years of construction experience, Luke began his career at an early age. He learned the fundamentals of home building while working as a carpenter and custom painter thoughtout high school.
After obtaining his Construction Management degree at East Carolina University, Luke transferred into heavy industrial construction with Keiwit. While at Keiwit, Luke worked on a myriad of large scale projects including heavy highway construction, bridge construction, tunnel boring and power plant construction. Most recently, Luke worked as a civil project manager on a billion dollar combined cycle power plant project in North Carolina.
Ready to be entrepreneurial and be back to his roots in residential construction, Luke obtained his North Carolina Building Contractor’s license, enabling him to construct projects on his own, both commercial and residential. Shortly thereafter, he founded King Farm Building Group, which allows him to use his unique skills developed in heavy industrial construction as well as his design concepts as a builder.
Luke is responsible for managing the company and all of its projects and he works closely with clients to ensure their ultimate satisfaction. He is the "boots on the ground" supervisor on every job ensuring accurate estimating, timely production, punctual scheduling and instilling the highest quality of standards on every project.

Cassie Link, Real Estate and Design Consultant
Cassie partnered with Luke in Charlotte, NC after over a decade in brand marketing and merchandising, most recently as the Global Brand Manager for Pearl Izumi in Louisville, Colorado. Early on, she helped Luke find, remodel and design investment projects, which quickly morphed into helping clients with real estate and design decisions.
We discovered that one of the biggest challenges clients face during the home building process is the design ideation and design selection process. Many have found that making selections can be overwhelming, time consuming, and rather stressful. There are so many selection details and design decisions that require your attention and need to be made on schedule so that you can be in your home on time!
Cassie’s experience and natural design eye can help to make the creative process of customizing your home enjoyable and fun. She is available to lend, as much or as little design help as each of our clients prefer. She can help create a “big picture” vision board based on your personal style, lifestyle and ideas as well as narrow down the daunting array of custom selections while ensuring that the decisions reflect your overall design aesthetic.
Cassie is a graduate of The University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill where she was also an All American Athlete.
